There’s a new normie guy at detox, and I don’t think he realizes that pretty much everyone comes into rehab with some level of suicidal ideation.
He was trying to warn me about a new client the other day, saying, “Hey, just so you know, so and so said that they’ve been having thoughts of suicide lately.”
And I was like, “Yeah, that’s pretty much everyone that comes in here.”
And after a bit of a pause, he said, “Yeah, client and staff alike.” Lol.
So I said, “Yep . . . could be any day now.”
And after a bit of a pause, he said, “Yeah, client and staff alike.” LOL.
So I said, “Yep, could be any day now.”
