Soft Hands

By Zackary Ross Wiggs

Nice and cool in here, not at my job though. Where? The factory where they beat you with //pipes\\. Yeah, it’s not easy work but someone has to do it. Only ever worked there and at the Pain Mines®, I had to switch because they went union, can you believe it?

You get breaks here, lunch? That’s nice they do that for you. In the Pain Mines® we didn’t get any breaks. Well, we did, but I never took them. That’s how you move up in a company, gotta pull at least 60 hours. The ex-wife never understood that. But I’m sure you have time for family here. You get benefits here? Well the only benefit I get is that they let me live at the end of the day.
